Seminar Description: Postural Assessment and Treatment Protocols
Posture: 3 days, 25 contact hours
In this seminar, students develop a plan or "blueprint" that is used to apply the movements learned in the other classes. The Posture seminar teaches the basic skills of postural assessment and what to do once an evaluation is completed. Case studies are included and experienced students are invited to bring their own case studies for review. Our walking and moving patterns of today are based upon all that came before: movement "markers" that may or may not have been completed as we've grown. Our many "baby steps" add up and if we've skipped some, it can affect our movement patterns today. This basic seminar on Developmentaol Movement addresses those and other issues concerning gait and locomotion.
